Start Menu Replacement

I hate the start menu. I would like to somehow replace it with a iphone style launcher, or really anything more finger friendly.

Is there any way to remap the start button?

Is anyone else doing this, can you recommend a launcher?

Finger-friendly wise you might check out SPB Mobile Shell. It has a lot of cool features.

It's set to be updated from v1.5 to v2.0 sometime this month.

Can it be set to replace the start button?

Thats the real problem there's a few launchers that are very nice.

Your start button will look the same but when you activiate it the above screen shot is what will appear.

Did that answer your question?

I tried that spb mobile shell, but i don't think that it allows you to re-map the start menu soft button:

I found this thread with no solution on the subject:

Anyone know a way to remap the start menu button?

What phone do you have? If you have a Titan/6800, then you cannot remap the Start and Ok buttons...

math0ne 02-14-2008 03:23 PM

Yeah i have a titan. Thats a real shame, i would have thought there would be something out there.

There's a bunch of programs that modify the start menu, you would think there would be one that allows you to re-map it's function.
