maybe because they thought it would be annoying to be the receiver and have a signature attached to every single text message they receive in a threaded conversation....which I totally agree with :)

I have recently purchased a Palm Treo Pro and I can't get SMS-Chat to work. It will not send messages and I have problems with the soft keyboard popping up all the time. Has anybody got this working on a Treo Pro successfully?

Recently installed this on a HTC Touch P3450, Windows 6.0 and seems to work like a charm. Read some of the common issues, when i reset, threads not deleted like some, softkey appet did the trick so one button straight to sms-chat and like all have said, slick looking interface.
As someone has mentioned, just personally dont like how a new sms appears on the main screen (privacy thing), wish it was like the standard 6.0 messaging where you can turn the notification bubble off so you need to physically go into your envelope to read it but other than that, i think its good. this is version 1.16

just realised sometimes using chat would not let me send messages, says cant send so had to use standard sms. solution, i changed persons ph to inc area code even though both in the country, ie, not calling outside (ie australia =614) and now it worked so another little bug to be fixed.

I second that. I find it very annoying when I receive text messages with signatures attached at the end. That's why I don't have one set up. I don't want to put my friends through the same torment they put on me.
