Sprint TV Mogul
 

I had a Sprint Rep send me link for Sprint TV. I had read all about not working, shut down on their end. The program loaded but did not get channels. I called back latter yesterday to ask about no channels. THe Sprint person this time after checking said it does not work on Mogul. I asked why and was told the Mogul is a business phone only. So are other Sprint phones but they get TV. I asked why would they load games on the phone if it is strickly for business, she hung up. I think they did not want every feature to work on this phone without going to 3rd party apps. Don't won't the phone that has it all. Then why a $500.00 phone?

Sprint TV does not work because it opens the door for some sort of virus acording to the reps I have talked to. MobiTV works but its flakey. With the new versions of the rom for Sprint mobitv does not seam to work at all though.

ive got HANDITV on my mogul that i didnt pay a penny for and i think it works great...ive never had any problems at all....i also use www.featheredaccess.gotdns.com, i watched the democratic debate on this site from bw3's last week and it worked great...

That makes no sense whatsoever, a virus? There's like only 2 virii reported on the WM OS and one of them was created to prove they could be created.

Plus, SprintTV works fine on my Sprint Touch, I just tested it and watched CNN Live. It doesn't work on the Mogul because it has not been officially released for it, the only WM device to officially be advertised to have SprintTV is the Touch, and it works on it.

At the beginning SprintTV even worked on devices that were not on the Sprint network, my guess is that Sprint shut it tightly to only devices they advertised it for.

EDIT: Just found a thread of Mogul users reporting it works on their devices, some of them are hit and miss, etc. I will lock this thread so all discussion can be done on that thread...
