Owner name for Registering???
 

Do you really have to have your owners name in your PPC for programs that only require the serial? I've been reading through different forums where that seems to be, but today I did a hard reset and starting putting in all my serials when I realized I never put in my Owner Info. Everything registered fine, even the ones that I had to use Name / Serial. Just wanna know I guess. :twisted:

I have never put my info on the 6700 and I haven't done it on my wx. I don't think it affects anything really.

I believe Resco and SKtools use the owner name (along with other things possibly) to determine registration against a serial number.
