Best Media Player
Anything better than Windows Media Player? I have HTC audio, seem cool too. Any others worth looking at?

I rock with conduits pocket player.

Been discussed many times.
Search for TCPMP, Windows Media, etc. late, Coz. Many of us use TCPMP and love it. |
I did search for media player...didn't see much or should say saw too much. Thanks.

For audio only you also might check out PocketMusic, GSPlayer, and MortPlayer.

I was just in this same search a week or two ago looking for something besides WMP. I came across this review of various competitors: http://www.mobiletechreview.com/soft...P3_players.htm
I ended up with PocketMusic (pocketmind.com). |
Is there anything out there similar to pocket tunes? I have a ppc 6800. I used to have the Palm Centro and the thing that I miss the most was the Pocket tunes player. It was awesome. It allows you to make quick playlists from your existing library and also has a direct button for satellite radio. I wish I could get pocket tunes on wm6. Anything similar out there?

Another vote for PocketPlayer. Works great with WM6 and the bluetooth connection over to my mono headset is great for discreet streaming radio broadcasts.

i use mortplayer.. love it and has big buttons
|
Try WinVibe 2007. I have it and it sounds the best so far out of WMP, HTC AM, MortPlayer and GS Player. Best part... it's free.
Link here: http://www.freewareppc.com/multimedia/winvibe.shtml Extra skins here: http://winvibe.tistory.com/category/Skins The visualizations are terrific and it is LOUD. Has many functions too. "For users with QVGA and 400MHz/higher, please download this software here." |
TCPMP all the way

Re: Best Media Player
I have run Pocketmusic twice and both times when I was exiting the app, it froze the phone and had to powercycle. Anyone else have this issue?

Re: Best Media Player
Easiest to use: Kinoma Play
Smoothest/Best UI: Kinoma Play Best Format Support: Coreplayer/TCPMP |
Re: Best Media Player
for music, you want nitrogen. for video, you want coreplayer. kinoma is alright... just a bit bloated for my taste.

For example, if you'll never be sharing favorite music and video links to on Twitter, you can uninstall the Twitter app. (If you ever change your mind, you can re-install in a few seconds.) -- Charles Wiltgen |
Re: Best Media Player
for videos it's a toss up between Coreplayer or TCPMP
for audio I think Nitrogen is my favorite |
Re: Best Media Player
The thing that kills Nitrogen for me is lack of playlist support.

Re: Best Media Player
for music, pocket player is hands down the best.
