New Browser Claims To Be 5X Faster Than PIE

No Flash or Java, but seems quite interesting. Java or standalone version. I'm going to give it a try in a bit.

See their "business model" - $3 per month........

I downloaded the Windows Mobile Professional cab. Will play with it for a bit and report back.

Oooooo....following their Google link takes you to the Japanese homepage of Google.

Tapping on Menu takes you to 3 Sub Menus. These can be selected via the d-pad or stylus or keyboard.

While the interface is interesting...I think the learning curve could be pretty steep. It's not very intuitive.

I believe part of their claim of "5x faster" is the fact that their browser loads very few images. Though I really don't notice any "speed" improvements.

I tried the Java one, but can't get past the "set softkey" screen.

its okk not lovin so far.....very comparable to opera anyone use opera dont bother to switch...speed so far is the same for me no difference as far as i can tell

Yeah, not impressed. It pretty much borrows from Opera, NetFront and Picsel. Nothing original here.

I just uninstalled this application. I'll stick with PIE powered by MultiIE.

can someone fill me in as to what PIE is ???

I currently just have the Picsel Browser & IE
