Multiplayer Online Gaming
I am thinking about starting a project to provide online gaming/chatting among WM users. No crazy 3d FPSes or anything, but simpler stuff like cards and board games.
I'm just trying to test the waters now, see if there's any interest in such a thing, and what kinds of games would be popular among users. So if you have any ideas you'd like to see, don't be afraid to speak up! |
i would love it, the only issue i have seen with these things is the amount charged for these games, I've never bought one because of a fear that no one else bought it or not enough bought it to be playing online at a certain point. i need to be sure i'll find a match and be able to actually play online if it has it, which is the toughest part, i'm sure.

i like the idea but i use shareware/freeware almost exclusively, i dont like buying a 26 digit number

There actually are a few games for PPC's. Such as Shadow Of Legend which is a Diablo Like MMO that you can cross platform between PC and WMDevices... too bad it ran like crap when I tried the closed beta though... (And that was the PC version, the WM Version needed a gig of my Card to even run, No f***ing way!)

There is also the real dice multiplayer stuff but it cost per month which sucks .... I really wish someone could figure out how to make the Java app run stuff like yahoo games (dominoes) on WM6. That would be sweet. Is this even possible..... anyone know??????

Well, the idea is to make the project freeware and provide an API system so other people could develop their own games and take advantage of the online system already in place.
