Problems Using 'ORB' With 'TCPMP'...
For a while, this was working just fine. I would go to mycast.orb.com, sign in, pick a movie, and then it would tell me the kbps or something like that at he top. I would click on that, and my movie would play just fine through TCPMP. However, after a Hard Reset, it gives me two separate error messages. One for video, and one for audio...
As you can see (below), TCPMP is saying that I do not have the codec, or something like that. Any ideas? I included a quick screenshot of the File Associations page so that you can see that I DO have Windows Metafiles checked... http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h7...P-ORBError.jpg http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h7...-ORBError2.jpg http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h7...sociations.jpg Any help would be GREATLY appreciated... -Touche' p.s. Oh yeah, and if anyone knows the best setting for TCPMP when using ORB, I 'd appreciate you sharing that with me if possible as well. THANK YOU! |

You need the Windows Media 9 codecs added to your Windows directory. Search the forums - they are here. That is what the problem is.

Go into the TCMP settings and make sure its the default player for all the file types. shouldn't have any problems with it after that. good luck |
