request : X server on widows mobile

Hi all;

I'm searching for a program to run X server under windows mobile, such as Xming and Cygwin/X on widows... to run Linux program on my virtual phone (I can use any version of windows mobile).

have you any idea ? I'm searching for a week and I didn't find any result.

Thanks in advance..

What is the origin of your request? do you have a windows mobile phone and want to run x server on it? or do you specifically need it to run inside windows mobile.

For example, you can load up Android and Ubuntu on some phones.

Otherwise you can also run QEMU and BOSCH emulators.

Not sure about native support though.

Yeah but vnc viewer he is actually going to have to connect to another device so its not exactly running it locally.

Thanks guys for your replies, actually I want to run a x program (such as xcalc) inside my windows mobile, without using vnc viewer, I think there is no solution

sure there is, lets start with the basics. What phone do you have?

For example, you can use QEMU to emulate ubuntu or puppy linux on your windows mobile device and then run the program from there.
