No Audio Pass Through After MS Voice Command 1.6 Install

Ok... Is it just me?

I used to use be able to use audio pass through to listen to Media Player on my 6700. After I updated to MS Voice Command from 1.5 to 1.6, I can no longer do this.

All the patches posted for 1.5 to get this to work no longer seem to do anything. I really like the new announcement pass though and dialing features of 1.6. But, the 1.5 I had is looking a lot better.

I have also noticed that my BT headset battery drains very fast now too since installing 1.6. My Jabra BT500 used to stay in standby for days and have about 5 hours talk time. Now it won't even last a day in stand by if i use VC once in the day.

Anyways... Any suggestions on getting pass-through to work again would be appreciated.

To get the audio to pass back thru most of us have been using a program called audio.exe or BTaudio. I'm not sure what phone you are using.. so I can't tell if this would be what you need.

If you goto the fourm: http://www.ppcgeeks.com/transfer-cal...set-t1559.html

That is where I posted my Caller ID to BT headset (tells you who is calling in your BT headset) program.. in that program I have the audio.exe also.

So what I do is either use the PPC to open media (tcmp, ect..) or press the BT button and say 'play "artist"' then I just press it again and say "open audio" to run the audio transfer to the headset.

Hope this helps,

As for the battery life, I'm not sure, sorry.

Sorry... Forgot to mention the model.

I'm using a PPC-6700 with AKU 2.2 installed. I'll give this a shot and see how it works out.

Thanks,

Then yup, this should work good for you.

Yep... All better... Takes some getting used to though. That and the shortcut to Audio.exe was miss spelled. the link was Audio.exe.lnk. Removed the .exe and it worked.

Thanks
