will this work with the touch and the stock touch 20 keyboard? I am interested in a threaded sms but i dont want what i am typing covered.

Works fine on Touch Dual just need to disable SIP in settings.

I think its causing my texts to be scrambled. Example: I need two boats. Would be: I@@ n@e@@@e@@@d t@w@@o@@@ b@o@@a@@t@@@s@. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone know how to fix it?

Defintely quicker then V0.17 and so far, just as stable. Just added lightbiter's theme to it and now it really looks good... plus it matches my theme perfectly.

I havent used any keyboard with it except the slideout and TouchPalPro v2 and both work with impressive compatiability. No covering or distortion of either the background or keypad screen.

How come whenever I try to send SMS the T9 guess words don't show up? I have to go to the Choose SIP page everytime for it to display that again. Also why doesn't PCM take over incoming messages? I feel like it defies the whole point of the program.

I discovered this and if it has already been discussed then please dismiss:

You have to have PocketCM running in order for it to intercept sms messages from reaching default messenging. I even made a shortcut to my \windows\Startup folder so that PocketCM starts automatically on soft reset...

Is anyone using PocketCM with Pocket Informant? I'm not a big fan of PI's contacts, so I'm looking for an alternative.

since i have never posted a dagnamn thing here other than my opinion, i make sure that i try to never complain or criticize those that spend so much of their time and talents helping the rest of us out ... having said that, i would also like to say that although i really like the new 0.18, i may have to re-install the older 0.17 ifi cant get rid of this 'tarded sip that keeps popping up every time i text somebody! how in the hades do i disable that thing!?!

If you click on the contact's name in the top of the screen a drop-down menu shows up. select "Choose SIP" and then the top one is "no SIP." Or it's some garbled code that is supposed to mean "no SIP." Either way, choose that one :) I usually have to do it a couple times before it stops showing up.

RB, right on ... good lookin out homie. unfortunately, i dont have that option in the drop down like in the older versions ... i only get "show sip" and "choose sip". ill try downloading it again ... :)

Yeah, that's right, "Choose SIP" then the button at the top.

Works great on my Mogul. Still, when I get my SMS via PocketCM's threaded app, they show as unread on the Today screen and via the default messaging app.

NEO THANKS! wow! an opp to actually help somebody! NEO, in the sms thread, long tap (tap and hold) the BOLD messages until they shrink to regular sized texts. then the notifications you have of unread text will change. you can also perform this action in reverse, if you find the need to keep an sms as new.-choir

I've been running v0.18 for several weeks now. About ten days ago, my contacts information just completely disappeared from my phone. I had a good backup on my storage card, so I just replaced it.

Yesterday, it happened again. First all my "Favorites" disappeared, then all my contacts disappeared. So I've now deleted Pocket CM 0.18 from my phone. I may go back to v0.17 - I haven't had any problems at all with that one.

I was having similiar issues with random contacts just dissappearing in v0.18. I'd re-sync my contacts and they'd still be gone... weird!

I've since gone back to the palm app using the full screen keyboard... it works.

I have also encounted all of my contacts not showing up w/ 0.18 pocketcm. One thing I noticed was when I first opened the contacts, it flashed all of my contact lists (the wm6 contact list) for a quick millisecond and as pocketcm takes a moment to loaded up all the information, pocketcm display had nothing. Re-sync w/ the computer took care of the error though.
