HAVA vs Slingbox Mobile Player
 

Has anyone experimented with both on their phone?? If so which is better. I am trying to decide on which one to buy and as of right now I am going to go with the HAVA because multiple people can remotely view at the same time opposed to sling box(which only 1 person can remotely view at a time). However, I have read reports that remotely viewing HAVA is choppy, so does anyone have any input. Thanks

I have both - and right now I'd have to say that if my primary use were on my Touch I'd get the Slingbox. Slingmedia updates the software all the time - and the Hava mobile software has been in beta for at least 6 months with no support and no updates. The Hava has some very nice features not available on the Sling including the ability to record and the picture is slightly better on the LAN. I think the Hava can be used on the LAN by more than one person, and can be used for mobile and on the LAN at the same time, but I don't think there can be two mobile users at the same time. So I'd say it depends on how you plan to use it, but if it's primarily mobile go with the Slingbox. - sheurea
