The New PocketCM 0.18 has been working great for me.. loading times are greatly improved..(half second or less) Also I just checked mem usage and it is using just over 100K!! Not a hog. Press and hold the Phone Icon on bottom right and slide to the settings and other features.

Finger tracking/gestures has been improved on as well.

Later,

The ONLY two contact apps I can find and like are fingerfriendlyfriends and the contact manager in spb mobile shell.

fingerfriendly may not DISPLAY immediately but if you type your search as soon as it opens, by the time you input 3 characters it has already searched and displayed your contacts, so it's a fluid and effective loading time. Of course unless it just loads faster on mine? ;)

updates are constantly released...

iContact 0.3

There is a 0.4, but 0.3 is better IMO.

It's a version of the thumb-scrolling feature that comes native on your Touch device - allowing us non-touch users to scroll a list with the swipe of a thumb and to use a cube-type menu. Other than that, nothing special. If you want more you need to search for it - it's not difficult.
