are you just looking to get a new keyboard for it, or just get a skin for what you have to make it lookbetter?

I dont remember for sure what it takes to do that, but there is a certin cab that will replace your keyboard layout on start up to a different keyboard version.

The Sharkie rom chef was telling me about it at one point because I made the keyboard skins that is currently being used in his rom at startup.

Both his and the energy roms use 2.1 i think

I later switched to the sprint lovers rom to try it out and they use 2.0 i think, so the keyboard skin i had made were missalighned, but he had told me that there was a way to get a different keyboard, but its a bit of a lengthy process and I couldnt find what I needed to be able to do it at the time so I didnt have any sucsess with it back then.

If you send him a PM he'll get back to you, most times with in the same day even. He is very good about answering messages from anyone.

Do you mean to change the way the phone registers specific buttons on your slide out keyboard or the onscreen

Ive been assuming you ment onscreen keyboard layouts.

Oh ok, sorry about the mix up.

Do you need to change it to a different language?

Or are you looking to have the abbility to fully customize keys
