I have not seen this here (unless I overlooked it) so I thought that I would post it for you nice people.

The program is called My Mobiler and it's FREE! It allows full control of your PPC from your desktop via ActiveSync. You sould be able to do the same over WiFi but I have not tried it yet. This is from the site:

SOTI pocket controller pro does that too, it also lets you control the ppc through wifi

But it wasn't free the last time I checked.

Having just looked at the Pocket Controller commercial app, I'm looking forward to trying this out. Thanks for posting the zip file, too. For some reason, the DL links on the mtux site wouldn't work for me. tmb

not really working for me for some odd reason... the application doesn't even open after i unzipped it

I would try downloading it again. I have not heard anyone else say it doesn't work. Also it is a desktop installer. I know you probably know that but I have seen people try to run programs like this from thier PPC.

Do you think it has anything to do with me running vista? I can't reinstall it because it gets errors and it wont let me delete the program off my computer...

I am not able to get this to work. Every time I open mymobiler it kills the little icon on my phone and tells me it can not connect. If I try to reset the remote.exe from /windows on my phone it tells me the file is corrupt. I can copy it back from my home pc and it seems to work, but one I try to open mymobiler on my home pc it kills the icon on my phone again. I tried also just tried it after a hard reset with the stock rom before I installed any other software and it still does not work. Chad

I'm glad I'm not the only one.. I'm trying to figure this out.. maybe it doesn't like our moguls..

Edit: when I try to install it says "an error occurred writing your windows application to disk. Setup cannot continue and will exit."

I think you are getting that error because you are trying to reinstall the exe from your home pc and the files already exist on your desktop. I think if you remove that folder from your desktop it might let you install it.

I just got this working! It looks like I had to open up a firewall rule? Not sure why, but it seems to work now. I also had to recopy the remote.exe file back to /windows. This is kind of a cool app, but make my home pc desktop a little buggy sometimes. My home pc mouse will get stuck and works normal once I kill the app. Chad

Yes, I am a retard... I didn't know it all worked out of the tray icon. I have Vista and use object dock so I never see the tray... meaning its been working the whole time it just never let me know. i texted a few people with it. it's all fun and games.

My Mobiler does indeed run on the Mogul i have been using it for a few months... and it gives you good screen shots of your phone screens too.

i never said the SOTI pocket controller program was free
but if you look hard enough...

its a great program, ive been using it ever since september 2007 and it has never let me down once

Does anyone have this working on a Touch?

I can't seem to get it running? I've even manually tried to copy the remote.exe file to my phone, but it still won't show as connecting.

I have the Sprint Touch and it works beautifully for me. I just executed the file on my desktop while my phone was connected to the computer. Maybe try a fresh reinstall?

I have also been using this with the Touch. Works perfectly. Although, does anyone know how to connect to PIE or opera while being connected through active sync. I'm pretty sure I was able to do this with my mogul before I got rid of it, but it has been a while.

Definetly cool. It would be even cooler if I could drag a file off of my phone to the desktop.

It proved invaluable when my screen got smashed. I was able to run SPB backup and save all my stuff in case the screen swap munged things.

Jus installed this on my MDA Vario 2 running WM6 - makes things a lot easier!

It's not able to connect for me.
It will say "Please wait. Checking your mobile to see if MyMobiler is running and exit now." Then it gives the message "Unable to Connect".
I'm synced and the remote.exe file is in my Windows directory on my Mogul. I'm not sure what the problem is.

Right click on the icon in your tray(on your PC) Got to IP connection. If the box is highlighted hit connect to IP. See if that works. Also you may tr going to configure mobile and hit Install to see that it is installed to your PPC.

can't get it to let me drop files on it from the desktop. I'm running vista and have the mogul wm6. I'm trying to copy a wav file into my windows directory to use it as a sms notification but I can't get to my windows directory from vista so i thought this would work. I even tried coping and pasting the file but no joy.

It's not suppose too... Use ActiveSync or Explorer directly to copy files... This app is more of a remote control, much like Terminal Server...

Dang, I've been using this for a few months and I just realized that if you drag the cursor off the left side of your PC screen, the cursor goes to your phone, just like having a 2nd monitor.](*,)
