App to play music library from home to my PPC???
 

Anyone know of a decent program that will let me play music located at my home PC on my PPC?

I've so far tried "WRC" and "RemoteAmp", which install a server agent on your home PC, and a remote client on the PPC. But neither of them worked correctly (or at all). (And, I even placed my home PC on the DMZ of my firewall to ensure that wasn't blocking the service).


I know there is "WinAmp Remote" which works through ORB, but I'd rather have an application, instead of browser access.


Any ideas???

Even though you mentioned it, I would try ORB again. If you take the time to set it up correctly you should have zero problems.

I ran it for a while and even with my crappy signal at work I could enjoy skip-free music from home through ORB.

yes. orb is great. once setup right it will let you download or stream files pics tv movies songs you name it.

Don't get me wrong.... ORB runs great.
However I'd like an application interface, instead of a browser interface.
(Just for ease of use).
