Any app equivalent to whatsapp?
 

My friend on iPhone boasts that he uses whatsapp to exchange short messages with his wife, while my wife and I pay verizon $10 each to have 250 messages/month.
There's got to be an app that does what whatsapp does for iPhone, but I can't find one.
Is there?

Cnectd will give you the same concept as well as palringo. Just may not look the same. They both drain the battery pretty quickly though.
