processes
 
is there a program that tells you EVERY process that is running? like on PC? and how much memory it is using?

there are dozens of them, i use Memaid,sktools.....and one task mgr...dont remember which one that is....

ok thanks guys i will try them out.. i had sktools lite (?) but i dont remember seeing all processes.. so i will try the others first.. i like keeping things simple and dont like having a bunch of duplicate programs.. like i use clean ram so i dont want sktools cleaning tools..

thanks i like this dotfred a lot.. i think this is what i will stick with.. i have a couple questions about all these processes though

which ones can i do without? better yet, which ones do i HAVE to have?

here is the full list and how much mem thay are using

1. rapiclnt - 432kb

** the only ones i am worried about are the big ones that dont look familiar like gwes.exe..

5 - is just that manila
6 - ?
7 - system lock
8 - outlook stuff i have it deleted from my start up folder since i dont use it to sync
9 - ?
10 - bluetooth stuff
11 - ?
12 - system services
13 - ?
14 - activesync
15 - device operations
16 - files needed for phone to operate
17 - ?
Im sure a more senior member can correct/add in the blanks or if i have something wrong and feel free to do it!!!

gwes is activesync? lol. nice try though. if you dont know, dont guess. a quick google reveals the right answer.

Gwes is the Graphical Windowing and Event Subsystem. It's one little program that draws all the controls on the device like scrollbars, buttons, and checkboxes. It also handles passing window messages back and forth between applications and manages the WndProcs of all of the programs on the device that are displaying UI.
