Treo 700W today screen speed dial mod.
 

Here is a program that will add a speed dial function to the today screen. You can use a picture or text for the links to the numbers from the today screen. Very neat program, helps with one handed dialing, but the new rom has the voice dial funtion so the choose is yours.

can you use your bt headset and use the voice dial :dontknow:

i guess never mind cuz i have a 700wx so i have the pic dial I was just interested in the voice dial with BT which probably won't work

You will have to get a program like Memmaid or SKTools to get rid of it. Why not lock your screen before you put it in your pocket? If your device dosn't have a lock, their are plenty of 3rd party apps which can be found in the software forums. :)

Quick fix is to either turn it off from the today screen setup area in Settings or to lock your screen with a tool like MortSaver...

i installed the cab but this is not working for me. am i missing something here?

soft reset?

works on my mogul

It is a today screen plugin and you will need to enable it on the today screen in lieu of looking for it in the Programs folder...

I had done the Soft reset and it still wasn't working even though i had selected it in my today screen options and did the soft reset. for some reason it didnt start working until i installed and removed photo dialer 2

Thanks so much!! I've been looking for something like this ever since I moved to the Mogul from the 700wx. Just no good way to dial without going thru painful 2 handedness.

I don't have any pictures of it, but it looks and works exactly as the dialer plug-in on the Treo 700w/wx, if that helps at all.

Like previous posts mentioned. If youve seen the 700wx or 800w.........yeah EXACTLY the same.

After using this more, I discovered that the dial pad doesn't come up like normally when dialing someone, so might not realize that it is indeed dialing. Is this happening to others too when using this plugin?
