Volume

Ok I am pretty new to the site but I have done alot of modding to my mogul and I now I need some help. I was wondering if there is an app that will let me increase the volume when my mogul rings. Cause right now it is loud but I went to the mogul from the Q (total POS Don't get) and it was alot louder any ideas?

I believe you can use PHM RegEdit to increase the ring volume in "control panel", try this:
Click on PHM regEdit, HKEY CURRENT USER, controlpanel, SoundCategories,Ring, AttenuationCate 2 and InitVol should be 5 or higher. I set mine at 10. Hope that it would help.

Follow the same instruction above but change in call Volume to 5 or above, mine set at 10. By the way, do you bluetooth headset with ms voice command? If so, you have to adjust the audiogateway volume so you can hear it better.

that is what I was was looking for drurc8 thank you very much and no I don't use ms voice to BT I just synced my plantronics explorer and it works. But I can hear very well with the headset but the thing hurts my ear after about an hour so I just go without unless driving. then I force myself to suffer the pain because I had a really bad wreck earlier this year and it was in part to my phone at the time

OK I tried to change that reg but It didn't do anything

So, after you changed Reg in "in call" to 5, it did not do anything, right? That's strange. On mine, I feel that the volume is a louder, make sure AuthenuationCate stays at 1 or 2.
If you use bluetooth headset, you have to change Bluetooth volume control in HKEY Local Machine,Software,Microsoft, bluetooth,AudioGateway, Mic Volume (I increase to 100) and SpkVolume (I increase to 100) and this will make your bluetooth much louder, sometimes I have to volume down my bt headset because it is very loud and people around you can hear your conversation. By the way, I use blueant Z9 and it is the best noise cancelling bt headset. You can talk and listen clearly even in club or noisy environment.

By the way, if you talk on the phone, make sure you volume level is up to the highest level. Mogul volume is set at middle.

i tried these instructions to increase my volume on my sprint mogul

http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-6...-issues-5.html

decent results, still a bit dissapointed with the incall volume

CaGe02 12-05-2007 05:46 AM

well I tried a different approach Dru I used the post that cheatachu used and the post that you used. Both together made a remarkable difference. I actually now have to turn my volume down a little bit. I can put my phone on my desk and without turning the speakerphone on I can hear everything that is being said to me. Thanks to both of yall
