uZard - New Browser, Full Flash Support
2 Attachment(s)
This is a new browser I found while I was on 1800pocketpc. It's called uZard and it apparently supports full flash sort of like how Skyfire does.
Here's the link to their website to download it and I'll attach the files. It supports all resolutions! http://uzard.com/en/down/download_windowsmobile.asp QVGA : 320*240, 400*200 VGA : 800*480, 640*480 |
Re: uZard - New Browser, Full Flash Support
SIM CARD NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED
Update: -I tried this on my phone and I keep getting a error that says my phone's radio is turned off. -It looks very similar to the Mach5 web browser Update2: -Seems to be working well for me with wifi but not with my data connection |

You trust this on your phone? |
Re: uZard - New Browser, Full Flash Support
Why not? One of the best browsers for Palm came from that part of the world.

Re: uZard - New Browser, Full Flash Support
Did I see flash support ? Hmmmm....going to have to try this one...
Edit: Tried it on my Verizon XV6800 (QVGA), runs but, when ever I try to connect to a site, it just gives me a network error. It's a CDMA phone, no sim card. I also tried WI-FI and still showing Network error. Anyone have any ideas ? |
Re: uZard - New Browser, Full Flash Support
It runs very well on my TP2, as long it is can keep it's connection. Unfortunately, it loses connection very frequently which makes it pretty much unusable.

Re: uZard - New Browser, Full Flash Support

Re: uZard - New Browser, Full Flash Support

Re: uZard - New Browser, Full Flash Support
Ok I have a Samsung Intrepid through Sprint, it is a World phone, so to get uZard to work I need to get a sim card and put it in the slot correct?
Thanks Terry |
Re: uZard - New Browser, Full Flash Support

Re: uZard - New Browser, Full Flash Support
Ok I just reinstalled it and it works...kind of, not really impressed but I will give it more of a try.

Re: uZard - New Browser, Full Flash Support
Yea, I really gave this a shot (dreaming for flash on my Titan) and it was the slowest and slugish browser that I have ever tried on WM. Really buggy, it would just close for no reason.
Not inpressed so far. |
Re: uZard - New Browser, Full Flash Support
I'm trying it on my BB Tour and so far it seems like it works decent. I love the fact that it does Flash support which is unheard of on BB.

Re: uZard - New Browser, Full Flash Support
I have a tp2 through US cellular and my phone didnt come with a sim card because us cell doesnt use sim cards and so Uzard wont work for me. I get the radio is off message. Works fine if I'm using wifi. Does anyone know a way around this because I dont have a sim card. thanks

when you put it in, your phone will go into global mode, just go to your settings and set it back to cdma only. i have had it in for several months and have not had any adverse reactions and have not noticed any apps not working. i did have to download a sim card manager to make sure all previous data, i.e. contacts and sms backup, was deleted from the sim card first. l |
Re: uZard - New Browser, Full Flash Support
Any newer versions ? It looked like it had hope but, was very buggy for me.

Re: uZard - New Browser, Full Flash Support
Yep. Saw a new post and was hoping for an update.

Re: uZard - New Browser, Full Flash Support
Anyone know if this browser is done? When I try to access a site I get a "The service is over" message. The uZard website is still running and you can still download the Win 6.xx cab.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.3.7; en-us; Incredible 2 Build/GRI40; CyanogenMod-7.2.0) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)
Id say its done. Your bumping a 2 year old thread. |
Re: uZard - New Browser, Full Flash Support
Bumping the thread has nothing to do with it. I've been using the browser since it was released. Maybe I should have mentioned that. It was working a week ago. I was just wondering if anyone heard anything about uZard discontinuing service just as Skyfire did with Win Mobile.
