Use phone over Wi-Fi?

Hey I was wondering if there was anything out there that you can make phone calls using wi-fi instead of your minutes?

I searched and didn't find anything.

Thanks in advance for any info.

I disagree, with this phone and the talented dudes all over this forum, I'm sure there is a way to pull this off...

You mean you've searched and you haven't found a VoIP solution for a pocketpc ? I highly doubt that.. lol

O.o I am wondering how you went about searching

i mean, Skype... for one

Look up pocket pc Voip

Voip is "Voice over internet protocol"

for a VERY VERY small fee (normally about 20$ a YEAR) you can obtain a phone number on a voip network.

When you connect the computer, or phone to an internet source, wifi or your phones internet source; you can receive and place phone calls (Unlimited minutes)

when not logged on, all incoming calls are directed to a voice mail box that you can check from any computer.

benefits of a voip account are, you don't necessarily need a phone

say you need to make a call, but are no where near your home computer, nor phone; your number can be accessed from a computer anywhere theres an internet connection.

when i notice I am gaining low on minutes, i have all incoming calls directed to my skype number until 7pm or weekends

:) Saves a bundle; trust me.

If you realize voip isnt for you then i recommend looking into Palringo

a push to talk program for any ppc phone

do you recommend any voip/company/program for use on other counties?
such as europe and vietnam?
