SOLVED::::How to digitally sign a cab with a trusted certificate
hi
Im basically developing this titanium modification, it's already finalized and ready for cab'ing....ive tryed CE Cab manager, quikcab and they both succesfully build the cab perfect but when i go to install it i get the "installation has been unsuccesful because it is not digitally signed with a trusted certificate".....so how do I "sign" a cab?...ive installed sdcerts, ive tryed editing the xml/INF files and still no luck...any other ordinary cab works fine...ive tryed google, looked thru the forums, n nothing....any ideas? ive attached the cab too...THNX!!!!!\\ http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...40#post1677640 |
Re: How to digitally sign a cab with a trusted certificate
You need to use unsigner and ssigner - I forget exactly where to get them, but they should do what you need. First you need to unsign it, then you need to resign it, of course. Make sure you find the version with the newest certificates.

there may be a more recent version. I don't know bc no one ever attaches an upload date (June 2010). I hope this works for you. ***Edit*** I just found this. Says it is the newest. Who can tell on the internet though. |
