mytouch and micro projector help - wm software problem?
 

I just got an htc cable for my aaxa m1 pocket projector and can't seem to get the damn thing to output video. It is working on my friend's droid OS but the mytouch is giving me hell.

What are the steps i should be taking to troubleshoot the video out and wm problem? I'm thinking it is software as i've seen it done before on other peoples' phones to their TVs and stuff.

ok i could be reading this wrong but when you refer to "mytouch" are you talking about an htc "touch" as in the dated winmo phone or the "my touch" recently released on t mobiles network android phone?

i've tried it on 3 phones now, one with winmo and two with android.

well My touch runs android not wm

and htc touch is wm, but the hardware is a lil old, I dont think they have
video out technology built in, so that could be your problem right there...
I know the touch pro and diamond do, but I think those are the 1st htc models to have video out

you can always try an updated custom rom... if it is a software thing, the updated rom should have all the software necessary.

But i still think its a hardware issue

If you have a HTC touch then this does not support video out.
