I've always found this interesting too, with the way Christians like to share the gospels, I'm surprised there is no free bible reader program.

Olive Tree was at one time free, and the KJV is in the public domain, so maybe try that.

Olivetree.com has a collection of Free bibles available (plus paid ones too).

Just one caveat. The program works but is a bit out-dated. Olivetree has pretty much abandoned the WinMo market in favor of the Iphone/Itouch, Android and BB markets.

Check this one out: Pocket e-Sword http://www.e-sword.net/pocketpc/

I have Laridian Pocket Bible, QuickVerse, Pocket e-Sword, and Bible Reader. Without question, pocket e-sword is the best. Tons of free bibles, commentaries, devotionals, reading schedule, and the search is really good.

After trying several, I also found pocket e-sword is the best. The only thing ever changed for is content that the copyright holder requires a fee for.

I use pocket e-sword.. It's the best one I've seen but development for it has stopped so some of you may get problems with the font being too large or magnified... The pocket e-sword forums has some suggestions to "fix" it.
