Does this require a subscription or a license to install?

You get a free 7 day trial, after that you must have you're license key, as this is the paid version. I don't work for them so i can't really say much but yes after 7 days it does require you to have a license.

True, i noticed that too as well but I don't really use AIM anymore at all mainly due to my girlfriend living in the U.K so... I'm currently using skype at home to get in contact with her thanks to free calls, I heard from the dev's of IM+ that they are working with AIM or a way to fix this issue, if i recall thought, nick name the number and it might just work =] I have no way to test this.

oh okay coo yea skype is a lovely app my roommate uses it all the time to talk to his family
i have most of my +123432 contacted named with a nick and none of them show up online or even offline hopefully they will get this fixed and let us now till then i'm sticking with palringo
the sorting on palringo compared to im+ is light years ahead which there was a better messanger on andriod though that's the only thing that's really keeping me from switching over to andriod right now is a decent messanger that lets me sort contacts

agreed.... yet this update wasn't so mind blowing compared to the updates Iphone users get... there already testing a new update for Iphone users! What i hate they didn't fix was still can't message people who are hiding offline or appear offline nor leave offline messages.

Tried it. Not much improvement. AIM still logs out a lot. I e-mailed them and gave them my log file. Went back if forth with them trying to figure out the problem but after a few weeks I gave up.

yea i was working on a few things last night intergating my aim contacts into my gtalk account using a transport seems like it worked so i might jump back over to andriod and check that out lol i wanted to get the premium version of palringo but i've been lazy i should it's only 5 bucks you can't beat that and i think it works on the android side too cuz it's locked to your email

Hey @Keland44, Sadly no the premium won't go towards you're palringo on android the moment... they are working on linking it to all os systems though! sooo may the best of you happen towards Android =]

@JayR04, I have agree with you on that... It wasn't much of a new improvment at all, sucks to hear about the A.I.M issues, I'll be sure to try to let the dev's know, any other issues? I don't use A.I.M so mainly that is why, skype was neat but I rather just use the actual skype client as the group chats are all in once.

Here is one to the hopefully get a good looking (not stone age looking) in the near future of Windows mobile applications. as for me, I'm loving it as love as Msn and myspace chat works and no keyboard lag.
