nanoGROOVE is awesome!

For the past few months Ive struggled with streaming Pandora, Groovefish and a few "other" programs designed to give my portable music on demand anywhere anytime. My results were less than good due ROM incompatibility, poor audio quality and less than perfected programs. The closest I came to good was Groovefish but development has been slow and I couldnt set up a playlist. I needed a reliable use for that 1/8 jack on the bottom of my TP2!!! For 4.99 I purchased the nanoGROOVE license and let me tell you PERFECTION! I can set a playlist (you DO NOT need to have a VIP membership for this) directly from my phone and I have great quality music all day long. You have got to try it. :headbang:

Thanks for posting that, I will give it a try (I have been less than thrilled with the WM version of Pandora which works awesome in my ipod touch)

I agree, nanoGroove is fantastic. It's not free like Groovefish but it's much better. It has a nicer interface, shows album art, you can queue up many songs to play in a row, it plays with the screen off, and you can even play playlists that you've created on grooveshark.com. I use it every day. :)

i still dont understand the point of nanogroove or groovefish. From what i understand with both you just type in the name of a song and it finds it plays it thats it?

while pandora makes a actual radio of similiar songs that you may like from my understanding the groove apps dont do this at all?

Re: nanoGROOVE is awesome!

Yeah, that's basically what it does. What's great is that unlike with Pandora and Last.fm, you can play any song you want, at any time. You don't have to wait for it to show up in a rotation or on an artist/genre channel. The Grooveshark site now has a radio feature which is pretty close to Last.fm in that it continues to play songs that it thinks you'll like based on your listening habits. I'd love for that to get incorporated into nanGroove as well.

Well worth the 4.99... I payed TOO much for Kinoma player. 5 bucks for all this program offers is chump change (no I am not nor do I even know the developer, Im just giving the program its due)
