I ran across this and thought some of you might find it useful. I don't and haven't tried this as I'm happy for now with the Palm threaded SMS, but this is an alternative and is free.

does it support landscape mode?

Very intriguing. From the description, though, I get the feeling this one may be a bit more of a memory hog than the one I'm using from codyppc now, and it seems like it may be a bit more obtrusive, what with popping up fully whenever you get an IM. Still, seems like something to keep my eye on.

I have used codyppc and am wondering if IMSMS supports spell checker (that was my problem with codyppc)?

You might want to look a little harder for the download links as they are listed under the first link I provided. Look for the download link labled "Cab file install here: PPC PRO EDITION - Version 1.0" about 3/4 the way down the page.

eh...you have to load all your contacts into this program in order for them to come up...I played with it for 30 seconds before I realized that and wasn't into it. Maybe I didn't spend enough time with it but it didn't wow me right away anyhow.

i tried installing this on my sprint Mogul and when i type, its as if its locked in Function mode and wont let me type any letters, only the function keys (ie ?, %, $, + etc) .. anyone know why this is?
