IM+ lite free for windows mobile
 

I have no idea if this is warez but does not seem to be warez as it offers the basic of latest IM+ for windows mobile but without push and such but offers you the basic. I stumbled on it across a site, only down side to it is it, no facebook nor twitter.

I offer no support for this... as I found on another site.

If this is "warez" forgive me but seems to be an actual freeware with no crack used or such! if it is can a mod please remove it.

note I own the full version but tested this out before i posted and seems to work well. please hit thanks if you downloaded and it worked for you =]

Without first installing, it looks like this is a port of the iPhone application.

I'm not really sure to be honest, I installed it successfully on my TP2 to test it and shows as build 7.1.1 lite September, overall though, great build and hope it helps those in need of a free good instant messenger application that are looking forward to use. source says it was found here on this site so maybe it was ported from there or it was made just for the site..? http://www.samsungapps.com/topApps/t...09515&listYN=Y

Wow, I guess I really don't know then. From the screenshots, it looks like the same as the full version that, I too, have. Looks like I'll be testing this.

Yeah, its good for those that can't pay yet or don't want to only down side it on the top of the screen it shows a green bad saying as ad "click her to get full IM+" but on a lovely TP2 the screen isn't an issue.

I just use the one that comes on the stock rom for my diamond, OZ Instant Messaging aka OZwinmoIM. It's good for aol, yahoo and hotmail.

I will try this one!

I hope it works great except that ugly annoying green box on top urging you to get the full IM+ but i guess free has a cost. Hope it works great for you :)

hehe glad you loved it! Its always good to help fellow members and plus free avatar viewing and such, I'm currently looking into other user applications worth posting, as this one seemed pretty rare :D feel free to recommend it to those looking for free IM app picks.

what's going on everybody cali thanks for the post
i actually have a paid version of im+ that i brought but have stopped using because of the lack of iming cellphones from aim (that's how I talk to my wife most of the time on my phone) it seems like it might have just stopped working
i'll give this a try and see if my mobile aim contacts come up
i've been using the free version of palringo i think the sorting on palringo is a lot better then on im+ but i noticed they don't do auto reconnect like i think im+ does
i would definately say check out palringo for the last few months i've been using it i've really liked it it's good alternative to im+ plus it supports all messangers including facebook chat like i mentioned the sorting is nice compared to im+

Palringo indeed does auto reconnect.. i am currently using it after trying IM+, Nimbuzz and the likes, and i must say Palringo trumps them all..!!

what are you talking about lol, IM+ has auto reconnect for me.... at least the paid version I have does lol. I beleive the lite version i posted has "auto reconnect" in the settings you have to check mark.

oh i meant on palringo

i've stopped using im+ because of the +1(areacode and number) doesn't work anymore
you could have a +16463451234 on your buddie list and it would come up as a buddie that you could text straight to your phone for some reason it doesn't work i emailed support and they said they are working on it but that was months ago so i'm not sure what to say about it now i've been happy with palringo other then disconnects and not reconnecting when the connection is throttled or having handshake issues with facebook but the sort in palringo is very fast compared to im+

has anybody found this on their site? i looked and looked, but it's like they don't want you to find the free version lol. I know where you found it, CaliBoy, but I just wanted to see where I could find it on there site...

I really wish they upgraded the full version of IM+ to be a little better with the swiping of the buddy list. It's so painfully slow!

Hey, IM+ will be releasing an update pretty soon this month so keep an eye on there updates, according to one of their Devs =]

Yeah it has been a good long while lol, last update was August, so a good 4 months since one, I recall the devs saying there might be skype chat support in this update! I can be wrong though but I hope there is ;)

I will hold them to there words as I'm always reading there forums, seems like they have more love to iphone users as they are testing yet another update for iphone users, getting ready to summit it for apple app-review meanwhile were kept in the dark... Iphone gets more love :(
