HipVoice Push To Talk
HipVoice allows you to PTT across pretty much any PPC/WinCE/WM5/SmartPhone/Tablet & XP device on any platform (WiFi, GPRS or CDMA) to any platform in a secure private environment. We are not streaming voice and that is why we are able to go over any carrier network - however, we are encapsulating the entire message and then delivering it all under 1kb a second.
We have an implementation for our Moto Q9 connected to Telefonica (Mexico) and PTT'ing with us in Los Angeles on Cingular on an HP iPaq and getting 3 seconds sub times. Watch the video by going to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHk3tHFKoGU (keep in mind the PTT on the video is SLOW for video purposes. In actuality PTT speeds are any where between 3 to 7 seconds depending on network & topology). We will be conducting a private beta test and If anyone would like to beta test HipVoice software, feel free to e-mail me at info@hipvoice.com and in the subject line type BETA and we will send you the cab file, login instructions etc in about a week... We will not share or distribute your e-mail to ANYONE... |
So... Let me ask what is probably a dumb question...
Would this work with the 6700? Could it work with WM6? |
Is this a Big Matt original?

Very similar to Palringo...except that Palringo seems to be true Push-to-Talk while HipVoice is delivering packets that need to be decoded.
The delivery of "notes" or "stickies" is intriguing though with Hipvoice. Seems interesting. late, Coz |
