Here's a nice app that will allow you to create groups and then send text messages to those groups very easily.

This feature is available natively in the WinMo 6.5.x builds in the contacts app. I use it on my TP and TP2. Also - I did notice that the SMS groups I create did NOT sync to an Exchange 2007 server though. Hopefully it does sync to an Exchange 2010. Can anyone confirm?
