Shake to wake up device
1 Attachment(s)
Pocketnow reports on an application which allows you to wake your HTC HD2 from suspend simply by shaking it.
The software stays active even when the smartphone is suspended, and also keeps the G-sensor awake. The effect on battery life is not known yet, but if you decide to try it out, let us know in the comments below. The software by zzattack can be downloaded from this XDA-Dev thread here. It was originally developed for the HD2 but I tested on my TP2 and it works as it should. It's not a cab file, You select the exe and it works. To uninstall you just end the process. |

Re: Shake to wake up device
I've had it on my phone for about 12 hours and havn't noticed a difference. Honestly I even forgot I put it on my phone until I read my post from last night. It's kind of cool but as long as the button on the top works there's not really much need to shake it. The developer apparently made this app because the hardware buttons on some of the HD2s break.

Re: Shake to wake up device
so when its in your pocket and you walk around isnt that enough to turn your phone on and start pocket dialing people? Probably would be if you ran though right?
