I've really only used the included Adobe Reader 2.5. I like the fullscreen option, and the reflow option. It is very handy.

What I don't like about it (and maybe this is an option in another reader), is there is no way to continue where you left off. If I left off on page 83, paragraph 2, it would be nice if I can leave a marker. Also, it would be nice if I could "jump to" that marker I set.

I usually use the Microsoft one to convert my own files to eBooks using either the MS Word plug-in (WordRMR.exe) or the free version of ReaderWorks software. I use eReader for anything that I purchase from eReader's or Fictionwise's websites. Both readers are free and I know Fictionwise's website has a few free e-books in each format that you can use to test the programs out, even if you don't find anything free that you're actually interested in reading. I'm sure there's a way to make your own eReader books too, but I've been using MS Reader since my first PDA, so I that's what I'm most familiar with. Either of those should remember your place between uses without having to set bookmarks. Touch the top or bottom of the screen in eReader to page up or down in your book (or you can set it to continuously scroll for you if you'd prefer). That wasn't obvious to me the first time I tried it so, maybe that will give you an easier start.

I've been using uBook reader forever now, but it';s getting a bit dated in feel. Especially with wm6.5.3 with the start bar on bottom now it's option to tap the side and it drops down for access is pointless.

Yeah, Microsoft Reader is great for me. The only thing it lacks is the ability to swipe to flip pages.

ive never been into ebook readers, but have you looked into Freda? not sure if it has your bookmark feature but people seemed to like where it was heading when it was first released.

I like MS Reader pretty good.
But for PDF's I use MobiPocket.
I have some really large PDF's that I like to keep on my ppc. They were unreadable on any reader I tried. I converted them with the Mobi desktop program (free) and they formatted very well for ppc use.
Automatic bookmark too.

I use MobiPocket reader. It's not as pretty as the others but it will import just about anything and I've had no trouble with rights management... which I have had with MS Reader and Adobe Reader.

In fairness to MS and Adobe, by problems with DRM is probably more due to my frustration with the whole concept than it is with the technicalities of DRM.

I use MobiPocket for most of my reading, but there are two places it falls short.

Does anyone know of a WinMo reader that supports:
--DRM'd ePub files?
--DRM'd PDF files?

There are plenty of ways to read unlocked ePub and PDF files, but our library seems to be moving away from MobiPocket (.prc) and towards epub/pdf for their ebook selection. :(

I use eReader, which can now read books bought from eReader, Fictionwise, and Barnes & Noble.

For conversion to the pdb format that eReader uses, I found that Stanza Desktop works great for that.
