Shake to Send
 

Jaxbot from xda-developers has released a new app called Shake2Send. It is kind of like the Bump iPhone app. Shake2Send 0.5 is a windows mobile freeware application that allows two devices to pair and send contacts over the air. To pair, the two devices shake at the same time (Similar to Bump for the iPhone). No bluetooth needed!.
Usage Instructions :

• Download the CAB.
• Install.
• Enter a name (Be unique for each device!)
• Press Connect, and then shake both devices at the same time (Or within ~1 second).
• When paired, Press Send Contact and select a contact.

Version 0.6 released

Version 0.6 released, with file sending!
It will now allow you to send files, and if the file is a picture, display it, and if it's a CAB, install it.
Be careful, though, not to send huge files. It CAN crash the client if you attempt to send a large file to another device.

Interesting software.

Only problem is finding someone else with WinMo that has it :P

Yea love my TP2, and i encourage the community to keep building apps..I don't care how corny they are...Easy apps at that...TMZ app, Engadget app, Ustream, and everything else the popular websites are building...Reason i say simple because the best developers are wimmo. And just implementing a UI to draw flash or complete website like FIM "best face book client ever". We have to do better or Winmo will be windows 3.5 very soon with the current apps that are coming out on the other OS are moving our user to other platforms....We don't buy these expensive phones to make calls, we buy them because we are comfortable with winmo and USE to love the apps..Now there are three large OS to compete with that are dropping a bomb on us every day.

sending contacts can be done without an app... its alot easier to find someone with Bluetooth than this app

So what bro? alot of people might find this app useful. BTW, very nice app, Im glad seeing people still developing for WINMO!

Maybe...but with this you dont have to be in bluetooth range...you can be anywhere.

1. You CAN be in a different area, however that takes the main idea out, but I added support for this. Simply click Pair->Manual Pair and enter the other devices nickname, and then have the other person do the same for you.

As soon as I click pair on either of my TP's "one stock one RZ rom'd" the white Error screen pops up and they both close.. it says "A request to send or recieve data was disallowed because the socket is not connected and (when sending on a datagram socket using a sendto call) no address was supplied.. Anyone gotta clue?

ok so now I found a stable version to at least get to the startup screen but once I click connect it goes to my phones today screen and does nothing? even after a minute or two it does nothing and if i try to reopen the program it doesn't even open up?
