Be aware that once you upload everything (texts, pictures, etc), you cannot sync it back to the phone and you cannot erase it from Dashwire's site. You also cannot cancel your account.

Where do you get this idea from?

First of all it will sync to your phone if you get a new phone, or if you flash a new rom, or hard reset etc...

secondly, I quote from their website:

"Upon your request, we will deactivate your account, and remove your personal information from our active databases. To make this request, email support@dashwire.com. "

I wanted to update this thread with the issues that I was having with dashwire poping up all the time: this weekend it hasn't been happening. I think it's because I don't open dashwire at all. it automatically starts in the background when windows loads. and it updates the website without ever even letting me know it's running.

I guess I never knew that I had to close the program for it to work properly, need an instruction manual for this thing. =D> I'm very happy with the software now, it uploads pics right away and I can't even tell that it's running on the phone.

Edit: actually i just tried to open dashwire on my phone and it won't open, maybe the GUI for it crashed, whatever it's working the way I want it lol..

ok, I'm happy. I figured out a way to not get dashwire to pop up.

from a fresh re-set of the phone this is what I do:

1) start dashwire
2) force close dashwire by holding down the red X at the top right(i use quick menu)
3) start dashwire again. for whatever reason it doesn't show the interface when you start it again, but it runs in the background.

this is great, works just the way i want it to, never pops up, and still does all the features.

1. No it won't
2. No they won't

Try it before posting next time. LOL Dashwire will NOT restore pictures or text messages.

you are correct. neither of which is important to me in a restore, saves me having to delete the text messages to keep my inbox clean  and the pictures I like to delete off the device too, you can open dashwire to view them anytime you're within range of a cell tower, what do you need them on the phone for?
