Launch PIE from Launch Browser on Touch flo screen
 

I have HTC Touch Pro cdma version. I use the touch flo as my Today screen. The screen that says Internet (with a picture of the globe) and then under that it states Launch Broswer. This used to open Opera as the browser. I don't like Opera so I removed it. How do I set this up so that when I click on Lauch browser, PIE opens?

That wasn't the question whether or not PIE was liked over Opera. I can see how some would like PIE due to how fast it launches, the simple interface.

I think he has a valid point and it has been asked before. This would be a very useful TF3D tweak, maybe even allowing other browsers such as Skyfire to be integrated, giving the user a choice.

I too would like to see this type of an edit.

1. Navigate to "HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila" in registry.
2. Creat a new DWORD "2a or 2b" with a value of 1.
2a. "DefaultBrowserIsIE" with a value of 1.
2b. "DefaultBrowserIsOpera" with a value of 1.
3. Reset your device.

BTW: This works for Skyfire also. I now have Skyfire as my Web Tab default.

On to recent opened programs next ;)
