would love to find out how to remove the bar as well and get more space, mogul has more than enough keys, especially with htc home...

is there a way to have have more than one program mapped to a soft key?

i.e. messaging program and calendar mapped to the left soft key with a option menu to pop up when you hit the left soft key?

SPB Mobile Shell will map softkeys, and in fact that's the only reason I have it installed. It not only allows you to reset the softkeys to other programs on the phone, but to settings that are contained within mobile shell.

You can map a softkey to Lock your device. That's the sole reason I have it installed. If I could find another way to map a softkey to lock my device, I'd uninstall it.

I tried this app and it worked fine. With one odd side effect I no longer have the option of adjusting transparency level to my background image. Another great fix would be a way to just make the BG Black. I am running HTC Homeplugin with customerizer I'm looking for the option in that but no luck.

Go to this thread it will change softkeys and much more and easier to use than the app I commented on above.
