I have tried it and it does seem to improve data speeds for me. Lets get some testing going and post results. results may vary :)

Yea, read through it, looks good, from what I read, only improves speed by very little but, what it does is improve speed on images from a single domain.

If your browsing to a site with a lot of images, normally it would take a while to download all the images, this should make a major boost in speed on this.

It is also questionable how it hits battery life...I posted on there wondering on the battery impact.
