WM6.5 registry import trouble
 

OK...running MightyROM 04.25.09r with WM6.5...using Resco Registry to export registry entries so I can capture settings to reimport after flashing...I'm having trouble getting the most basic settings to take...is WM6.5 using a different header/format for registry entries?

I can't even set my vmail number or Sounds & Notifications settings anymore.

a slice of the reg file looks like so:

Did you ever figure out how to do this? If so could you share. I'm trying to set my alerts and ring tones using sashimi but can't get it to import my registry entries...Phil

ive tried doing the same and they have taken...ill post the log when i get home...

i was looking for something like this...i cant find a 6.5 reg entry guide...the entries are a lot different than 6.1, and i cant find some of the stuff that i wanna change....if anybody has a list, it would be great...

get phmregedit and use the search function.
search for the cab,
it's on this site in like a hundred posts.

i use cereg editor and that has been working...its that some of the keys dont exist in 6.5 at all, so im not sure if they moved/renamed them or something (doubtful) but also if they combined functions...there isnt really a guide for tweaking 6.5 yet...found a little something on XDA, and i posted a thread here in the tweaks section so we can colaborate the 6.5 tweaks that people have found that work

I'm running 95% of the same tweaks I used in 6.1
Main new ones are a couple that you posted,
(I personally don't consider lock screen tweak a reg edit,
but it is a helpful edit for people)
and then the titanium registries. that's about it really.

I like the one I used since I can use a search function and find what I'm looking for 90%of the time thanks to my uber good searching skills.

yea, same here...but there are a couple i tried that i couldnt get to work no matter what...could be a rom issue too..who knows...

and yea, i dont consider the screen lock a reg edit either...but its kinda in the same category...thats why i put it in there

Yeah, its a good edit to include.
I hope to make a few more edits or a walkthrough on it for people.
If it hasn't already been done, I'm sure xda has one already lol.
But I haven't found a skinning guide.
I personally already have already been skinning all of the lock screen stuff.
