modify Aku and ROM version

Settings -> System -> About -> Build

is partially pulled from HKLM\System\Versions\Aku

Settings -> System -> Device Information -> ROM version

is pulled from HKLM\Software\OEM\ROMVersion

This works fine until chef's start baking the values into the xip (os.nb.payload) in the kitchen.

Thanks for the heads up. I figured a HEX Editor would be involved. I don't need to know about REG Edit, as I am not about to steal someones hard work, that is just shady.

Thanks again though (gonna start cooking today, I got Visual Kitchen last night).

Also, the Kitchen(s), Those are just like files stuffed with apps right? They are open for the Gen. Pop to use? I don't want to step on anyones toes or anything.

If its cooked into the payload you can rebuild the xip with out it.

Although take note changing the aku will in most cases stop market place from working.
