Setting the ringer to ring only once
 

Does anyoneone know of a way that I can set the ringer to ring only once? I have set that function in the sounds section but it does not work.

Is there another way?

You could make a ringtone that has the sound you want at the beginning and then 40 seconds of silence. That should be long enough for your phone to go to voicemail.

You can use a program like SBSH Phone Weaver....or phoneAlarm. Both of these have a RING ONLY ONCE setting that works fine.

Yep, check this registry setting:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\RingTone0]
"Sound"="\\My Documents\\bennyhill.mp3"
"Script"="apw3r"

Remove the "r" from the script. The above script:
a = activates your device
p = plays "sound"
w3 = wait three seconds
r = repeats script
