cab files open as an internet browser!!
 

Hi,
I use HTC HD mini, windows mobile 6.5 professional
Every time i try to install a cab file, it opens as an internet browser with codes in it, at first i thought that's the cab file is corrupted but i tried with so many others, they all appear as an internet browser, i tried to install sdkcerts.cab(this version sdkcerts.cab - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download ) but it also appears as a browser, i couldn't install any cab files either by copying and pasting it in the device or by using CAB via ActiveSync1.5
any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

a true cab file installs automatically when you click on it. sounds like you have some other kind of files.....

that or IE is setup to open cab files, which it shouldn't.
