hi if anyone needs help on changin text, email, or any other stuff like IMs New Pic. Mail let me know i found a new easy way..i try lookinf for a thread with some info on how to do it but cant find..so let me know and i reply wit the steps

yeah let me know how to do this but one ? i have is have u found a way to make the txt msg ringtone stop playing by pressing a button or rolling the scroll wheel that is the one thing tha irritates me.

u need to have Audio Manger that comes with the Touch...Select a song go to menu - set as ringtone (u r going to have to trim the song, make it at least less than 4sec. the ringer for texts or email is going to keep on ringing until the song is done, u cant stop it) after u trim the song and u save it. go to file explore, Windows, Rings...look for the ringer that you just made Copy the file and past it in Windows Folder. Now u can go to Sounds n Notifications and select ur ringer

I havent found a way to stop the ringer..it just keeps on ringing until the ringer is over

YEs he did explain it but he added an extra step, after playing around with his steps I noticed that the ring folder are the ringers for phone calls and what not, here are the steps:
1) you need the audio manager as was stated above and do the song trim.
2) after all that, look for the ringer where it would save which should be under ringtones
3) copy that and paste it to file explorer>My device>windows and simply paste it there on windows
after you paste go ahead and change your voicemail or/and sms,etc... ringers.

the only way that you can change the slide sound. is wit .wav files..in the windows folder u'll see some windows ringers that have a 0_in..1_in or out...2_in or out..those are the sliding sounds...put the .wav files that you want in the windows folder and rename it..to 2_in n 2_out...thats how i did it and it worked great..i have the nextel incoming and outgoing chirp sound

There is a much better way to do this, involving a simple registry edit, where you can select your sounds on the 'sliding sound' program drop-down menu in start/settings ..
just do a search for 'sliding sounds' and ye shall find

for some reason I can rarely feel my phone when it is on vibrate for the text message, it only vibrates for three short intervals. I am looking for a silent ring to set and have the vibrate on also, because for my phone calls, the phone vibrates for as long as the phone rings, or does anyone know how I can make the vibrate function longer?
