Tweak to eliminate "Connecting" and mail update?
 

I've searched the forums looking for this info with no success.

I'm looking for a registry tweak (or other technique) to keep WM5 from displaying the "Connecting" bubble every time my Treo 700wx updates Weather Panel and other apps.

I'd also like to find a way to keep Pocket Outlook from downloading new mail messages when my Treo is docked (I've already set the options so that it won't access the mail server over the air). In other words, I only want my mail server to be accessed when I manually click the "Send/Receive" menu choice.

Any suggestions? TIA.

Go to Settings, Sound & Notifications, Notifications, select Connection Established from the drop down menu, un-check Display Message on Screen.
