landline type caller id
 

Is there or can there be any application or patch or something where the cell phone can get caller id like the landline based phones, the name of whom the number is under and the number? I dont understand why it wouldnt be the same on the cell phones.

would be nice!!!
for numbers i dont have in my contactss of course.
because it would be annoying to store a contact but if its under theor parents name or some sh!t like that it would come up like that.

it's just like standard information now, its like automatic on landline phones now and caller id is standard on cell phones why cant it show the same information to the cell phones as it does landlines?
