There has been an app on the palm platform called Phone Technician by hobbyist software that does just that on a Palm amongst other things(had an old Treo 700p) worked like a charm.

It seems that utilities on the palm platform are in abundance, but not the wm 6.1 platform. Maybe because of the stuff palm OS is lacking.

Would love to solve this problem. I have a Sprint TP stock ROM. Miss all the custom tweaks via a software interface that palm had.
