HTC VZW touch reply quickly please
 
Hi, i am possibly getting the VZW xv6900 and was wondering if someone could tell me one of two things. i am new to phones like this and does the MMS messaging cost extra and :violent2: does the camera work well

MMS is an add-on with your VZW package....Only you will be able to answer that..

The camera, its a 3.2 MP camera , which is pretty good for a phone.

lol nm guys i got teh voyager :P im not up to a PDA phone thingy. i was also wondering why the omnia and saga are the only smartphones of the sort from VZW with hidden fees. :s :violent2:

The XV6900 has a 2.0 MP camera.

+1 on this... the HTC Touch (XV6900) has a 2.0 MP camera not a 3.2 as the other poster listed.

I'm not sure why you say the Omnia and Saga have extra charges. I'm not aware of this. In order to use MMS you will need some sort of a data plan because it is a PDA and is not covered under another SMS/PIX/FLIX package because it's charged differently.

Also, please be sure you are aware the difference between a Smartphone and a PocketPC Phone (PPC Phone). A smartphone is one that has no touchscreen and a PPC Phone is one that has a touch screen. There are differences in their capabilities as well as in the software available. There are also major differences in the way they operate. Just a heads up so you're more clear on what you're getting into...
