anyone else seen this with spb backup
 

I have it set to kick off every night for a backup at 2:30 am. and it leaves 3 previous backups on the memory card. It ran fine for a while close to 2 months. but now all the sudden it wont reboot to kick off its nightly backup. and the phone is crippled untill I do the reboot and have it run the backup. this is realy annoying thing and It never happend when I ran sprite backup. if this cant be fixed I guess Ill go back to sprite but i like the sbp backup better so any help would be nice

Two questions....
First- do you have a previous backup that did not work, that may be corrupt? Sometimes a corrupt backup will interfere with future attempts. I had that problem, and once I deleted all but the backup I KNEW was good, my next one went smoothly.

Second- Have you tries the SPB forums? I have gotten a lot of useful info off of there!!

Maybe your notification queue is corrupted. Use a program like CheckNotifications or MemMaid to clear out some of the duplicate and dangling notifications.

It actually reboots *after* the backup, and yes I have the same problem; I have never gotten SPB backup to soft reset on its own after a nightly scheduled backup. Haven't tried the forums yet; I just back up manually (lazy). This has happened with every ROM I've tried, even after clean installs. Total mystery, but I still like the program.

I'm sure you've checked this but have you got the Automatically reset after backup box checked in the Manage scheduled backup, setup?
