To the .NET CF developers on here
I figured someone on here might have made some PocketPC software so I might as well ask here first.
On my Treo and my wife's 6700 when you go to a contact's phone number while in edit mode the numbers activate (numlock goes on basically). I'm trying to reproduce this behavior in a .NET CF application I'm working on and can't for the life of me figure out why none of the MSDN articles on this topic is helping in figuring this out. Has anyone gone through this that can shed some light on the subject? :?: |
Well I guess there are no .NET developers here huh
I figured it out. They actually MAP the keys to the numbers whenever you focus on one of those fields. Kind of funny actually because this would have to be changed for any Pocket PC with a keypad. You can tell by editing a contact and using the SIP (soft input panel/on-screen keyboard) to enter the numbers by tapping on the E R T D F G X C V keys on the screen. The numbers are entered instead. I now have this same behavior in my app :-D |
