Weather Panel and traffic cams

I am using the Commuter skin on my ppc. I am using this site:

http://dfwtraffic.dot.state.tx.us/mobile/

to load my camera imgs but the imgs do not show. Any ideas?

Make sure that you are using the correct url to provide your image. It will look something like this:

http://dfwtraffic.dot.state.tx.us/mo...Index=0&Next=1

this is the actual camera url that you need to enter into WP.

when I enter this one

http://dfwtraffic.dot.state.tx.us/mo...t=5&Previous=3

nothing happens.

Did you test the link on yours?

Where are you loading this URL? You need to go to:

Program Files/MarsWare/WeatherPanel/Radars

open Radars and add the url. Then you should be able to select it from your images in WP.

I'll test in a bit.

Ok...the problem is that you need to get your images from the following site:

http://dfwtraffic.dot.state.tx.us/#s...Trans%27%29%3B

The site you were using was dedicated as a mobile site. By selecting the cameras you want from the above site and entering them correctly you'll be able to get the views you want.

It'll look like this:

how are you getting the links from that page?

i assume i add the links to the radar file?

thnx for the help btw

From the web page list select your camera. After camera opens with the image, right click the image and select "properties". This is the url that you'll input into the file named "radars" in WP.

Does that make sense?

you sure that isnt just the current img? the page updates every few seconds, that wont prevent it from loading?

CozBoogie 03-21-2007 12:25 PM

Just load it and see for yourself. WP will "grab" the latest image.
